    The Holiday Inn at the Roberts Centre has an opportunity available for a friendly and welcoming Sales and Catering Coordinator to join our team. This position provides administrative support to the Director of Sales. This is a day shift opportunity. The Sales and Catering Coordinator duties are listed below:

    Job Summary:

    The Sales and Catering Coordinator provides support to the Director of Sales, Sales and Catering Manager and General Manager. This person will compile information to input into the sales data base, and provide extensive communication support in person, via telephone and in writing

    Essential Functions:

    1. Serve as first impression of hotel as lead catcher for all inbound inquiry calls, emails, walk-ins, and Request for Proposals (RFPs) for the sales team.
    2. Thoroughly qualify all business opportunities such as inquiry calls and unqualified RFPs before assigning lead to the appropriate seller.
    3. Input lead details and other data into Salesforce.
    4. Strong customer service ethic, always embracing our culture and mission statement with high emphasis on exceeding client expectations and always provides authentic hospitality to every guest.
    5. Actively participates in Columbus Hospitality sales initiatives such as training, sales blitzes, joint sales calls, and referrals to sister properties, as needed.
    6. Assist sales team with prospecting research, as needed.
    7. Assist with required daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
    8. Inspect and prepare guest rooms and/or meeting space for site tours scheduled with the sales team.
    9. Prepare appropriate collateral for distribution during site tours (folders, inserts, maps, handouts).
    10. Provide administrative support to the sales department. Responsible for faxing, mailing, filing, copying, creating, and updating client information in Salesforce and guest files.
    11. Provide office and phone coverage.
    12. Assist with special projects, as needed.
