This is a fast-paced position that offers a competitive salary and great work environmentWHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO THE POSITION?A great attitude and the ability to greet each patient as a valued member of the family - even when stressedA strong ability to multitask, and establish priorities in a fast-paced environmentThe capability to manage time effectively while always treating patients with empathyAbove average organizational and interpersonal skills; a team-oriented mindsetStrong communication and customer service skillsExperience in the use of computers including Microsoft Excel & Word Demonstration of ethical and professional conduct, including the ability to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA)
WHAT EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE DO I NEED? High school diploma requiredAt least 2 years' experience in a medical office preferredRadiology scheduling experience strongly preferredBasic medical terminology and insurance knowledge preferredSkilled in the use of computers and related software applications; excellent typing skills Detailed oriented, ability to multi-task with constant interruption requiredAbove average organizational and interpersonal skillsDemonstration of ethical and professional conduct, including the ability to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA)This part-time position is Monday through Friday, with some evenings (until 8:00 pm) and rotating Saturday hours.
Derry Imaging Center, an independently owned and operated practice, is American College Radiology (ACR) accredited in Mammography, Ultrasound, MRI and CT Imaging, and has onsite fellowship-trained radiologists.
