Clerk for Population and Disaster Protection (m/f/d)
(A division of the position into two part-time positions is possible)


Your main tasks are:


  • Coordination and participation in the organization of population and disaster protection (emergency service regulations, training, exercises)
  • Coordination of a cooperative development of emergency and hazard control plans for the city of Niederkassel, creation and regular maintenance of checklists and corresponding knowledge management
  • Identification of critical infrastructures in the context of public welfare and comparison of respective emergency plans in coordination with responsible actors
  • Planning and implementation of concepts for informing the population in selfhelp matters in cooperation with the Public Relations department
  • Support in the development of concepts to increase resilience in crisis situations
  • Participation in the staff for extraordinary events during crises, disasters and major incidents
  • Advice and support for other departments on population and disaster protection issues
  • Creation and updating of fire brigade deployment plans or similar
  • Supportive tasks in the area of administrative tasks for the fire brigade as well as support in general order matters as needed
  • Participation in the conception of "warning the population"
