Craft cocktail bar program of the Maple Tree Inn is looking to add a barback to our fine dining establishment.
Automated glass washer and automated glass polisher
Friendly, dedicated staff who genuinely work as a team and will welcome you.
Barbacks are responsible for stocking the bar area, coolers, and storage areas with the appropriate items, as directed by the bar manager.
A barback assists the bartenders with glass polishing, side work, and bussing.
Works closely with food runners and bussers to ensure an efficient workflow.
Must have night and weekend availability.
Food handler license needed within 30 days of hire.
Basset license needed within 30 days of hire.
Must be 18+ years of age.
Former experience as a barback / bartender guarantees a quick hire, however we are willing to train the right person.
Requirements:
Stock and restock the bar area with alcohol, glassware, ice and supplies, that are needed for service, at the direction of the bartenders.
Changing of kegs when needed.
Safely use equipment and knives for the preparation of garnishes, etc.
Transport filled glass racks to and from dish.
Must be able to stand and work for an entire shift.
Must have the ability to multitask in a fun and exciting environment.
Must be able to move and lift up to 15 lbs regularly, and up to 40 lbs occasionally.
Job Duties:
Assist bar manager and bartenders with ensuring an amazing experience for our guests.
Anticipating the needs of bartenders and guests.
Safely and properly change kegs and soda when needed.
Use the automated bar glass washer and automated glass polisher safely.
Use the manual glass scrubber in the triple sink when needed, followed by sanitizing glassware.
Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines.
