We are currently seeking a full-time Workshop Manager (m/f/d) for a global company in the automotive industry at our location in Hannover.

This is a direct hire position, not temporary work.

Responsibilities:

Supervising workshop activities
Organizing workshop operations
Managing and leading employees
Internal and external resource planning
Ensuring compliance with regulations
Conducting annual safety trainings
Managing test vehicles
Purchasing workshop supplies with cost optimization in mind
Evaluating workshop staff performance
Planning investments and controlling budgets
Evaluating and selecting main suppliers for materials
Optimizing processes
Responsible for inventory and disposal of old materials

Qualifications:

Completed vocational training in a trade, preferably in the automotive industry (e.g. automotive mechatronics, mechanic)
Additional qualification as a master mechanic is an advantage
Knowledge of tire mounting
Experience in workshop organization and employee management
Good written and spoken English skills
Willingness to occasionally travel abroad
