Description

SAIC is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented
Database Developer **to join our team and begin an exciting and challenging career.

This position is contingent upon award this Summer 2024 and person clearing Public trust

Responsibilities:

Serve as an active member of the software development team participating in daily standups.
Establishes database management systems, standards, requirements, guidelines, and quality assurance for database deliverables, such as conceptual design and architecture, logical database, capacity planning and external data interface specification.
Document software designs, which may include design diagrams, data flow diagrams, software module descriptions, etc.
Use Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools to include Visual Studio, Azure Devops and GIT.
Implement security and data protection.
Implement long term solutions and building blocks within the agile framework for improved reusability
Provide development support, as needed, for solutions deployed to production.
Collaborate, coordinate with colleagues on various solutions and problems
Comfortable with Windows Operating systems and environments.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 5 years' software development experience. (Four additional years of professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)

Ability to obtain and maintain a FDIC Public Trust that requires US citizenship
:

System design and development with Microsoft.

NET environment.

Solid experience with MS SQL server and Azure SQL databases
2+ years experience scripting languages such as bash, python, and PowerShell.
Experience with XML and jSON
Experience with SSRS and Power BI
Excellent troubleshooting and resolution skills
Ability to work in team environments across a diverse set of projects with multiple stakeholders.
Proactive approach to problem solving and a delivery mindset.
Understanding of REST and SOAP API development
Should participate in Design/Code and System review using agile development process
Excellent written and oral communications skills and able to work in a team which consists developers with different skillsets

Desired:

Experience with Azure Devops and pipelines; Agile development using Azure Devops

Target salary range:
$100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
