We are currently seeking immediate support as a Shift Manager (m/f/d) in logistics, packaging, and commissioning in Port Barre, LA.


Your responsibilities:


  • Organizing, ensuring, and optimizing operational processes in one or more of the mentioned areas.
  • Professional and disciplinary leadership of employees, including conducting trainings and briefings (personnel responsibility)
  • Personnel planning and deployment / scheduling, as well as vacation planning
  • Coordination with other department managers and management
  • Material planning / material disposition
  • Capacity planning and management
  • Processing orders in the ERP system
  • Creating band occupancy and maintenance plans
  • Conducting inventories

Your profile:


  • A relevant vocational training or degree, or further education in packaging technology / (warehouse) logistics / process manufacturing / plant engineering
  • Several years of practical experience and experience in personnel management
  • Experience with working with merchandise management systems and proficient in using common office applications
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, flexibility
  • Strong technical understanding and logical thinking
