After launching in New York City in 2019, Glowbar has quickly scaled to eleven locations in NY, NJ, and CT, with national expansion on the horizon.
Glowbar is seeking a driven, outgoing, self-motivated and people-focused Studio Manager to be a part of our growing (and glowing) team at our upcoming Back Bay studio Our Studio Manager will be continuously empowered to achieve KPIs, make strategic, high-level business decisions while leading their team to be culture carriers.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Meet (and exceed) studio goals; drive studio performance against studio revenue, margin and membership goals
- Optimize schedules on a daily basis to ensure utilization goals are achieved while effectively managing labor cost
- Oversee studio finances including: retail and treatment revenue, biweekly payroll, COGS/inventory costs, and additional overhead costs (G&A, Facilities) to meet studio level margins
- Demonstrate mastery of your studio's business and dynamics; provide regular business recaps, and solutionbased feedback to senior leadership on highlights and challenges
- Analyze and react to business trends; in partnership with Marketing team, utilize a community management database to initiate, plan and participate in local events to drive traffic, community outreach and build partnerships
- Model and ensure a friendly, compassionate environment, guaranteeing that every client receives an extraordinary, memorable experience as they navigate through the space and our retail assortment
- In partnership with field leadership and corporate partners; manage recruitment and hiring process for your studio
- Maintain Glowbar studio standards, ensuring all employees are achieving (or exceeding) expectations on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis; lead with warmth and positivity while holding team members accountable
- Manage retail and professional inventory via weekly inventory counts, revenue forecasting, and managing loss and usage costs
- Regularly coach, counsel and develop studio team consisting of Studio Guides (front desk) and Estheticians (service providers) on success and challenges paired with
- Execute on weekly focus plans to achieve retail sales and membership conversion goals
- Oversee and manage all client support conversations stemming from studio inbox
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hospitality people management experience in a booming servicebased industry (i.e. fitness, restaurant, retail, hotel, salon/spa, etc.)
- Proven track record of success in driving studio level margins and disciplined expense management
- Impressive management style with demonstrated success inspiring teams to achieve (and exceed) goals; fostering a highperforming team
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, providing exceptional hospitality
- Obsessed with providing bestinclass hospitality
- Strong understanding of retail operations, policies, and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask within a fastpaced environment
- Must be a forwardthinking problemsolver with a strong work ethic who has compassion for employees and clients
- Desire to learn and try new things every day
- Passion for beauty, skincare and taking care of people preferred
- Must have the flexibility to work a nontraditional schedule must have weekend, holiday, and early morning/midday/late evening weekday availability
