Job Summary:
Saybrook Home is actively looking to hire and bring on top talent to continue to grow our already talented Sales Team.
We have been located at 2 Main Street, Old Saybrook, CT, for 47 years, growing from 4,500 sqft to 45,000 sqft, and now proudly opening a 2nd location/Design center in Glastonbury, CT.
We are an all-encompassing design house, offering a large selection of American-made furniture, custom window treatments, Hunter Douglas shades, hand-knotted rugs, broadloom carpeting, home décor, and even name-brand apparel, partnering with Mahi Gold Apparel.
We believe in the philosophy of "Living your best life" and that you should never compromise on quality.
A significant plus is attention to detail, technical skills, knowledge, or background working with custom furniture, rugs, window treatments, and home decor.
The ability to create a quarter-scale floor plan or measure for custom window treatments would allow you to stand out from the crowd.

Job Summary:
Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand customer base and achieve company sales goals
- Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to meet and exceed targets
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM software to track sales activities and performance
- Collaborate with the Director of Design, Showroom Manager, Marketing and Design teams to align strategies and drive business growth
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends
Skills:
- Proven experience in retail sales management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to close sales effectively
- Strong attention to detail and follow up work ethic
- Knowledge of retail sales processes and solutions
- Ability to analyze sales performance metrics and make datadriven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients and team members
- Proficiency in managing a Design Sales team
Pay:
$60, $85,000.00 per year
