    Job Summary:

    The Patient Care Liaison plays an integral part in providing the highest level of patient care and facilitates communication with patients via phone and in person. This candidate will assist in all areas of patient care including scheduling, check-in/out, phone tracking and documenting patient records. A high level of energy, confidence and professionalism is required. This position is an integral member of the front office team and ensures outstanding patient interactions by being professional, courteous, organized and detail orientated. The candidate will assist Physicians, Physician Assistants and Aestheticians in coordinating patient care. Previous medical and/or medical spa experience in is preferred.

    Job Duties

    • Answers incoming calls, schedules appointments
    • Responds to all incoming emails within 4 hours
    • Coordinates scheduling MOHS procedures with facial plastics.
    • Qualify our providers and converts phone call inquiries to consultations
    • Organizes and documents all incoming leads
    • Learns and uses the practices EMR; ability to manage patient in EMR
    • Check-out patients purchasing products in POS system
    • Scanning of all patient information (insurance cards, etc.)
    • Ensure patient demographics are updated upon check-in
    • Ships products to patients
    • Working knowledge of all treatments and products offered in the practice
    • Responsible for opening and closing office procedures including balancing the POS system.
    • Educating and promoting skin care products to patients.
    • Collect co-pay's and or patient balances during visit
    • Adding and redeeming points for Brilliant Distinction and Aspire programs
    • Print daily paperwork
    • Communicates in a professional manner
    • Adheres to HIPPA privacy practices.
    • Check-in, monitor, and physically count (as needed) product inventory.
    • Update email addresses in our database
    • Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor

    Education and Experience:

    High School and minimum 5 years work experience in retail or front office.

    Previous experience in a medical office and/or medical spa is preferred.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    Proficient in Office 365 including Word and Excel

    Working knowledge of EMR and POS Systems

    Strong organizational skills

    Mandatory attendance for all special events/meetings

    Works well in a team environment

    Service oriented

    Detail orientated

    Ability to multi-task

    Punctual and dependable
