Description

As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving deli items, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

• Prepare and serve a variety of deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and soups
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area, including food preparation surfaces, equipment, and utensils
• Follow proper food safety procedures to ensure the quality and freshness of deli products
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and restocking as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
• Upsell additional products or specials to customers

• Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred
• Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register
• Knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary techniques is a plus
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
• Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar pointofsale software is desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and provide friendly assistance to customers
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing customer preferences and menu offerings
