    Description

    Job Listing: Part-time Testing Assistant at Savannah Technical College

    Savannah Technical College is looking for a Part-time Testing Assistant to join their team at the Savannah Campus. This role may involve traveling to different College locations. Reporting to the Testing Center Coordinator, the selected candidate will play a key role in administering tests to various College customers with professionalism and efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    • Warmly welcome visitors and students and direct them accordingly
    • Organize logistics for testing sessions
    • Distribute and collect testing materials
    • Act as a proctor during tests
    • Handle exam materials and test scores
    • Input data using BANNER software or relevant websites
    • Manage testing materials and supplies inventory
    • Provide secretarial and clerical support for the Testing Center
    • Adhere to professional practices in student interactions

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent *and* 6 months of related work experience
    • Valid Driver's License and proof of insurability
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Exceptional customer service mindset
    • Proficiency in computer operations and relevant software

    Preferred Qualifications:

    One year of teaching, counseling, training, or testing experience

    Salary/Benefits: Salary will be determined based on education and experience.
