The North German Plant Breeding Hans-Georg Lembke KG is a private, medium-sized plant breeding company headquartered in Hohenlieth near Kiel, Germany. The NPZ has been successfully breeding highly innovative plant varieties in the fruit species of winter and summer rapeseed, field beans and peas, as well as forage plants for 125 years.

More than 240 employees work at three domestic locations in breeding, production, consulting and sales of seeds for domestic and international markets. Through our own subsidiaries, joint distribution companies and distribution cooperations, we are active throughout Europe, North America, Australia, and in northern and southern Africa. With our rapeseed varieties, we are a leader in many markets. As a fully integrated company, we cover the areas of research, development, production and sales.
