- Travel to new accounts to ensure proper set up and coverage
- Support onboarding of new Specimen Collectors in the practice
- Subject matter expert with Millennium's systems and processes
- Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid (saliva) specimens
- Process and package collections or shipping
- Serve as an intermediary between the practice / clinic, laboratory, LSA Leadership
- Record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information
- Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal
- Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite
- Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens (when applicable)
- Driving from/to multiple facilities may be required
- 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years of experience in the medical field, directly supporting patients preferred
- 2+ years of customer service experience can be considered in place of medical experience
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to navigate a smart phone and computer required
- Valid driver's license required
- Medical insurance/billing and/or familiarity with medications/diagnostic codes is a plus
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Physical requirements: sitting 90%, walking 5%, standing 5%, lifting up to 20 lbs.

The Senior Specimen Collector is a key role at Millennium Health. As our representative, this position provides exemplary care and exceptional customer service to patients, clinicians, and our laboratory. This position is a cross functional subject matter expert traveling to start new accounts, cover existing accounts, and train new Specimen Collectors in varying practices.
