- At least 3 years of experience performing inspections, repairs or maintenance of fire alarm, security or other similar systems.
- An understanding of NFPA codes and standards for inspection, testing, and installation of fire alarm systems and/or familiarity with building codes.
- A NICET Certification is a benefit but not required.
- Applicants must be 18+
- Per Fireline's insurance policy, it is a requirement that employees ages 21 and over are permitted to drive company vehicles.
- Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record to be able to meet specific criteria defined by our vehicle insurance carriers.
- Fireline is a drug-free company. Employees will be required to take a drug test at the time of hire and periodically throughout their employment. This will include the testing of cannabinoids (marijuana), opiates, amphetamines, and methamphetamines. Fireline is a DOT regulated business working in the life safety industry and per DOT rule 49 CFR Part.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Be comfortable working in different environments as our technicians work indoors and outdoors.
- The ability to read, speak, sit, stand, walk, use your hands, reach, climb ladders, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of measuring, cutting, and installing materials for performing repairs.
- Show a commitment to quality work.
- A sense of responsibility for safety and the protection of life and property.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members to meet goals.
