Overview:

Project Manager III - Education


Cordoba Corporation, a leading civil engineering firm based in California, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager III to play a pivotal role in our Education and Facilities Sector.

This position is for a civil engineering, construction management, and architectural professional with at least fifteen (15) years of progressive experience assisting in managing Traffic and transportation-related projects.


Responsibilities:


  • Ability to independently manage all aspects of a project.
  • Ability to develop and control project scope.
  • Ability to develop and maintain project budgets.
  • Ability to develop and review project schedules.
  • Skilled in reviewing and coordinating the preparation of construction documents.
  • Ability to effectively facilitate project team and client meetings.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate and prepare change orders.
  • Ability to effectively monitor and coordinate construction activities with the various project stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt and respond effectively to project issues and challenges.
  • Ability to set and manage project expectations.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:


  • Minimum 15 years (PM III) of project management experience.
  • Education background in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Work experience in project planning and development.
  • Ability to independently manage all aspects of a project.
  • Ability to develop and control project scope.
  • Ability to develop and maintain project budgets.
  • Ability to develop and review project schedules.
  • Skilled in reviewing and coordinating the preparation of construction documents.
  • Ability to effectively facilitate project team and client meetings.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate and prepare change orders.
  • Ability to effectively monitor and coordinate construction activities with the various project stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt and respond effectively to project issues and challenges.
  • Ability to set and manage project expectations.
  • Must be knowledgeable in CEQA/NEPA.

Required Education:


  • Education background in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Preferred Experience:


  • Designbuild project delivery.
  • Working on projects with multiple phases and construction contracts.
  • Los Angeles County Public Works protocols and procedures.
  • Master planning and feasibility studies.
  • Knowledge of Public Contracting Code and practices.

Salary Range:
$170,000-$180,000 per year.


Location:
Los Angeles County, Hybrid, Four-Day/Ten-Hour schedule.
