    Description
    Job Summary:
    To organize and oversee patient care in the dedicated clinical area.Essential Responsibilities:
    • Administers oral and injectable medications in the assigned clinical area. Ensures availability of narcotics and drug supplies and maintains their security according to regulations. Monitors IV therapy procedures.
    • Ensures emergency equipment and drug supplies are operational. Responds to medical facility emergencies and documents incidents.
    • Develops and evaluates patient education plans for various health areas. Assists with medical procedures and patient recovery post-sedation.
    • Assists in triaging walk-in patients and manages the care system workflow efficiently.
    • Acts as a resource for team members and resolves patient-related issues.
    • Performs diverse duties as instructed.

    Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills

    Perform additional duties as assigned

    Travel to Lutherville Timonium location occasionally



    Basic Qualifications:
    Experience
    • Minimum 1 year experience in HMO or ambulatory settings OR completion of an Ambulatory Care RN Transition to Practice Residency Program within the last year is mandatory.
    • IV Therapy experience is essential.
    Education
    • N/A
    License, Certification, Registration
    • Credentials from primary and secondary work states required.

    • Registered Nurse License (Virginia) within 6 months of hire AND Registered Nurse License (Maryland) within 6 months of hire

    OR

    • Compact License: Registered Nurse within 6 months of hire

    • Registered Nurse License (District of Columbia) within 6 months of hire

    • Basic Life Support
    Additional Requirements:
    • Proficiency in relevant computer software.
    • IV Therapy experience is necessary.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
