Machine Tool Maintenance Technician

Requirements & Responsibilities

• Will safely and competently diagnose troubleshoot and repair manual and CNC machine tools such as lathes milling machines machining centers and saws.
• Will use Lock out Tag out procedure as appropriate to neutralize energy sources.
• Communicate with supervisor and manager on machine issues.
• Define spare parts required and provide ordering information.
• Make a plan and schedule of routine and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks as required.
• Advise Management if certain specialized tasks should be farmed out tospecialistst.
• Document all tasks performed as required.
• Must have good time management skills, and must be selfstarter. Education & Experience Qualifications,
• High school diploma or GED minimum required.
• Professional qualification in mechanical or electrical field
• Ten years of relevant experience maintaining manual and CNC machines.
• Working knowledge of major brands Kuraki, Doosan, Mori Seiki etc.
• Experience with Fanuc controls helpful.
• Experience ordering spare parts. Technical Competencies
• Knowledge of Lock out Tag out procedures.
• Understanding of schematics and machine manuals.

Pay:
$ $23.76 per hour
