Job Overview:


Our General Managers in Training work with our General Managers to direct and inspire our highly engaged teams to deliver best-in-class guest service.

They influence and lead the team to ensure a positive culture that keeps our guests coming back for more Your clear communication, work ethic, and attention to detail contribute to a memorable eegee experience for each guest.

General Managers in Training are responsible for ensuring that the restaurant meets the company's standards for quality, service, and profitability.

General Managers in Training also oversee the hiring, training, and management of the staff, as well as the inventory, budget, and marketing of the restaurant.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils for the duration of shift.
  • Collaborates with team to create, lead, and maintain an inclusive, positive, and safe workplace for staff and guests.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback in a professional manner.
  • Maintains a professional manner at work and when representing the company outside of work.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, trains, and evaluates staff and creates supporting documentation.
  • Provides development and growth opportunities for staff and management.
  • Creates and implements business strategies and goals for the restaurant.
  • Analyzes sales, costs, and profits to optimize performance and monitor trends.
  • Coordinates with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure adequate number of supplies in stores.
  • Engages and promotes excellent team and interpersonal communication, as well as guest service skills.
  • Conducts regular meetings with staff.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate and timely records of the employees' performance, conduct, improvement, and other relevant aspects of their work.
  • Prepares batches of food that are cooked to order or kept warm frequently.
  • Operates largevolume cooking equipment such as grills and/or deep fryers frequently.
  • Prepares, washes, and cuts food to be cooked frequently.
  • Must be able to multitasks by cooking several different orders at once, frequently ensuring that all items are prepared in accordance with guest instructions.
  • Clean areas and equipment as needed.
  • Must work five (5) lunch and two (2) dinner shifts per week.
  • Any other responsibility that aligns with the role.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities (with or without accommodations)

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently and proficiently.
  • Ability to Work under pressure and multitask.
  • Ability to accept responsibility and be accountable for your actions with integrity.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, is required.
  • Skill level proficient in Microsoft Office and point of sale systems.
  • Ability to be Oncall 24/7 and responsive within 24 hours.
  • Ability to develop employees who are interested in growing with the company as a Shift Leader, and Assistant Manager.
  • Ability to efficiently communicate to create interpersonal relationships and excellent customer service.
  • Ability to provide strong leadership, organizational, and problemsolving.
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of direct experience in fast food/restaurant management is required, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
Physical Requirments (required with or without accommodation)

  • Must work five (5) lunch and two (2) dinner shifts per week.
  • Must ensure a member of management is always in the store at any given time.
  • Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • For the duration of the shift, you will work around hot equipment, oil, extreme cold (a walkin freezer), and loud noises.
  • Must move freely throughout the restaurant frequently, including enclosed and compact spaces.
  • Must be able to remain standing for the duration, excluding breaks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds often, 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of hands, wrists, fingers, arms, legs, and bending at the waist (climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials) for the duration of the shift.
  • Use cognitive skills, including, but not limited to, learning, remembering, focusing, categorizing, and integrating information for decisionmaking, problemsolving, and comprehending, for the duration of the shift.
