Description
A small, well established practice located on the Upper East Side seeks an office manager.


Billing responsibilities include insurance verification, insurance billing, patient billing and collection, posting payments (including being able to read insurance remittance to determine if claim was properly paid), and following up with insurance company on outstanding claims.


Receptionist responsibilities include greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting and recording patient payments at time of visits, helping to maintain patient accounts, and some light clerical work.

The practice currently has one location employing 4 therapists. Pre-COVID, the practice had two locations, 6 therapists and 3 administrative staff (including the Office Manager).

Once we get to pre-pandemic levels of volume and we add admin staff, the Office Manager's position will include training and supervision of the other administrative staff.


Pay:
$54, $62,000.00 per year

Education:


  • Associate (preferred)

Experience:


  • Physical Therapy/
Chiropractic Office: 3 years (required)
Medical Office Management: 2 years (preferred)
