We are currently seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) employee for our office in the northeast of Hamburg to join our team as a Claims Handler (m/f/d) in the back office.

Your profile

  • Completed training as an insurance and finance clerk (m/f/d)
  • Ideally, professional experience in handling claims in property insurance
  • Responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, be proactive, and work well in a team
  • Excellent communication and customeroriented skills

Your tasks

:


  • Recording, processing, and independently handling claims in liability and accident insurance
  • Setting reserve amounts and conducting coverage and liability checks
  • Correspondence and phone calls with the goal of customeroriented and fair claims handling
  • Regular exchange with the team and other departments
  • Identifying and securing subrogation claims
