- Ensure operation of machinery and electronic equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on machinery, following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturers instructions.
- Locate sources of problem and repair in a safe and timely manner.
- Forestry Chain of Custody (COC)
- Mechanical Aptitude Ability to work safely on and around industrial machinery
- Desire to develop troubleshooting skills on a wide array of machinery
- Ability to work closely with OEM technicians to facilitate repairs to machinery
- Teamwork The ability to work effectively as part of a team to support the maintenance needs of the production floor
- Flexibility - The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs
- Static Strength - The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull and carry objects
- Manufacturing Plant environment
- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving you whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Lifts up to 20lbs
- Frequent standing and bending for up to 8-12 hours per day
