    Description

    The Ford Agency is currently seeking a litigation paralegal to join a prestigious public interest law firm in Washington, DC. In this role, you will collaborate closely with attorneys, conduct research, check citations in briefs, and support trial preparation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Attend and provide summaries of regulatory commission meetings
    • Verify citations and proofread legal documents
    • Assist in discovery processes and trial preparations
    • Conduct legal research and consolidate key findings
    • Organize case materials, including filings, documents, and schedules

    Qualifications:

    • Hold a Bachelor's Degree
    • Minimum of 3 years experience as a litigation paralegal
    • Background in regulatory matters, familiarity with FERC is a plus
    • Skilled in blue book citation checking
    • Excellent writing and proofreading abilities
    • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
    • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
    • Display professionalism, excel in high-pressure environments, and handle stressful situations with grace
