Fortis Industries, LLC is interviewing for a full-time
Backflow Technician at our Camp Pendleton, CA location.


POSITION DESCRIPTION/ DUTIES:

• Seeking a certified backflow tester and repair technician.
• Must have experience with repairing, replacing and installing most model backflow prevention assemblies.
• We prefer you to have a minimum of two years' experience performing the same type of service.
• Test units for leaks and accurate pressure settings, using precision testing equipment.
• Record readings and installation data on Work Orders, or field service orders, or enter data into handheld computers.
• Report hazardous field situations and damaged or missing units.
• Assist with installations and upgrades of equipment.
• Responsible for technical documentation, correspondence, and communication.
• Interact with customers and outside vendors.
• Must have good customer service skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess a Backflow Device Tester certificate issued by American Water Works Association (AWWA) or American Backflow Prevention Association (ABPA)
• Must possess a valid class C CA driver's license.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass both a background check and a preemployment drug screening (follows Federal guidelines) prior to hire.

Rate of Pay:
$28.04 per hour + $4.41 health and welfare per hr. (to a max of 40 hrs. per week).
