    We are currently looking for a Director, Global Technology Business Operations


    This Director position is responsible for managing the office of the CIO (OCIO), providing leadership for the cross-functional management of information and technology across the enterprise.

    It oversees IT demand planning, governance, performance management and the definition of IT ways of working (for example, common methodologies, processes, and tools for developing and operating IT).

    This role focuses on ensuring that the IT organization "does the right things" through strategy, planning, governance, and value realization, as well as "doing things right" through organizational and operational model development and performance management.

    This role will own special projects as an incubator of new capabilities and will be a natural home for new and undefined ad hoc tasks that require special focus for a shorter period.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Partners with the Head of Office of CIO and CIO and be the glue for IT Organization.
    Responsible for the creation of the IT performance management including IT Operational metrics, Performance Metrics, Risk Metric and Program metric for high-impact, enterprise wide, strategic programs, or digital transformation initiatives including ITIL practice adherence
    Establishes and implements continuous improvement programs for the IT organization.
    Drives and facilitates effective collaboration and communications between the IT organization and the user and customer communities.
    Own messaging to IT teams (vision, roadmaps, process changes), communications, and be the IT change manager
    Is responsible for directing the preparation, review and consolidation of goals and planning for the IT organization.
    Synthesize & standardize IT portfolios and funnel them to bring the data and governance CIO needs across all those portfolios
    Craft presentations partnering with IT leadership team to standardize and hone messaging that is unified and consistent with CIO's truenorth (Board, business partners, exec leadership)
    Standardize demand management, governance, improvements to any aspect of service delivery and IT cultural transformation

    Oversees the development and maintenance of IT policies, procedures, methodologies, and governance - as well as performance management frameworks and metrics - to ensure the IT organization delivers value to the enterprise.

    Education

    & Experience
    Bachelor's or master's degree in business, engineering, IT or a related field, or equivalent work experience
    Over 15 years of experience in IT and business/industry
    A minimum of five to seven years of experience of team management and leadership responsibilities
    Experience in business/industry (beyond IT), managing cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders
    Strong leadership capability with proven track record of successful team development and working effectively with all organizational levels
    Expertise in demand management, portfolio prioritization, financial management, workforce management, and value management
    Broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies, technology directions, and strategic application to business needs, including the ability to differentiate between a relevant trend and hype
    Proven track record of innovation, both in internal problem solving and in fostering innovative uses of technology in the organization
    Proven ability to improve operational efficiency, service delivery and information management across the IT organization
    Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others
    Proven ability to effectively drive business, culture, and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment
    Expert in IT strategic planning, IT governance formulation, and organizational change management
    Strong customer and user experience focus
    Ability to adapt to a wide range of activities without losing focus in order to handle the diverse nature of tasks within the OCIO effectively
