Your responsibilities:


  • Processing of application procedures with customs authorities and the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA)
  • Independent export control checks (embargo and person checks, BAFA processing and documentation)
  • Application and updating of customs authorizations
  • Correspondence with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, BAFA, and customs office
  • Classification of goods in the customs tariff
  • Timely completion of Intrastat declarations
  • Preparation of order confirmations
  • Handling of customer inquiries regarding delivery dates
  • Processing of worldwide shipments and export declarations in compliance with legal and contractual requirements (export/EU/third countries/dualuse)
  • Preparation of national and international shipping documents, customs documents, certificates of origin, delivery notes, invoices, and letter of credit documents

Your profile:


  • Successful commercial apprenticeship with relevant qualifications/ further education in the field of export control and customs
  • Willingness to further qualify as a customs specialist
  • Indepth knowledge and experience in foreign trade and customs law
  • Very good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably PSI Penta
  • ATLAS knowledge is an advantage
  • Independent, conscientious, and responsible work ethic
