Description

The Drive Thru Leader role is an important part of our business Drive Thru Leaders are responsible for equipping their team to succeed in hospitality and operations in the drive thru, while also ensuring that important restaurant tasks are completed accordingly.

- **Eligibility**:
  • Available a minimum of 2 closing/opening shifts per week
  • Open availability on Saturdays

No history of attendance or punctuality issues

  • Demonstrates Genuine Hospitality to all guests
  • Has memorized, understands, and works in accordance to Vision and Core Values
  • Operationally proficient at all positions in FOH
  • Helps others win during each shift (must be Operationally proficient to do this)
  • Completed Pathway content for each position they Lead (FOH)
  • Completion of Food Safety Agreement

Expectations / Daily Responsibilities:

  • Tasks
  • Preparing Drivethru team for rushes (delegate stocking & cleaning tasks)
  • Ensuring team members are customerfocused
    at all times:
  • Demonstrate and promote core 4 & genuine hospitality
  • Overseeing execution of Drivethru opening & closing procedures
  • Rotating teammates in Drivethru
  • Ensuring there is clear communication with the kitchen, drivethru team, & guest
  • Drive thru Leader works alongside other restaurant leaders to promote Operational Excellence
  • Drive thru leader makes decisions in the moment to achieve Operational Excellence
  • Drive thru always looks for opportunities to develop those around them, whether they are new to the team or not
  • Pathway is always the reference point for a Drive Thru Leader with regard to Operations, and Opening/Closing procedures
  • Drive Thru Leaders use their phone for Pathway responsibly during their shift
  • Food Safety guidelines around cell phone use still apply
  • Teachable spirit is always present
  • Team Leaders look for opportunities to improve _themselves_ and welcome feedback from others

  • Setting up iPads, card readers, walkies, headsets, etc.
  • Communicating wait times with guest, window, bagger, & kitchen
  • All opening and/or closing tasks according to Pathway
  • Guest Recovery // HEARD model
  • Navigating ChickfilA One app
  • Misc. Sale
  • Issuing Refunds
  • Troubleshooting Drivethru issues
"Advanced Drive-thru concepts" - Learn & execute

  • Why always pull cars forward?
  • Why start taking orders at 1st fan?
  • When to do headset vs. outside order taking?
  • Identifying bottlenecks, and the way to solve them

REQUIREMENTS:

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have.

Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants.

Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day.

Whole lemons are freshly squeezed in our restaurants and combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that's all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade.

It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.
