Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our buildings, equipment, and systems.
This is a leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to supervise a team.
Duties:
Works closely with Chief Operating Officer, report issues/concerns
- Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure the proper function of all facilities, equipment, and system.
- Oversee the supply, inventory, shipping and receiving and maintenance.
- Oversee the repair and replacement of faulty equipment or systems.
- Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor spaces
- Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed
- Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors
- Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals
- Maintaining daytoday operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders
- Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
- Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions
- Collaborating with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facility needs
Experience:
- 35 years' experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance methods, operating requirements and safety precautions related to facility.
- Well organized, detail and customer oriented
- Excellent problem solving skills to address facility related issues.
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills
Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team
- Excellent problemsolving skills to address facilityrelated issues
- Knowledge of logic controllers for building automation systems is a plus
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Effective communication skills to interact with staff at all levels
