St. Mark's School seeks a full-time Associate/Assistant Director of Advancement Services to join our active and creative team. This position serves on a four-person Advancement Services & Stewardship team within a 14-person Advancement department. The associate director reports to the Director of Advancement Services, Data Analytics & Stewardship.


Key responsibilities:


  • Create multiple complex queries and utilize exports out of Raiser's Edge on a daily basis for the Annual Fund, Parent and Alumni Engagement, and Stewardship Teams, as well as for the Communications Office for larger school messaging.
  • Manage data requests and projects in Asana project management software, prioritizing those requests.
  • Use a broad spectrum of sources to research, organize, and evaluate a prospect's financial capacity, ability to give, willingness to give, charitable interests, and connection to the school, creating approximately 3050 customized, indepth profiles per year.
  • Create and refresh the research bios as necessary for the Trustee Governance Committee, the Head of School, for all prospects being seen during regional events, and for Major Gift Officers as needed throughout the year.
  • In the summer, research and rate incoming parents.
  • Work several key weekend events annually, supporting Family Weekend in October, Reunion Weekend in May, and upcoming capital campaign weekend programming.
  • Other duties and event work as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • This role requires superior knowledge of Google Workspace and the Microsoft Office Suite; Excel in particular.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize multiple requests.
  • A collaborative work style is necessary, plus the ability to stay calm under aggressive timelines.
