Job Summary
Responsible for preparing, baking, cooking, seasoning, and serving food to patients, residents, staff, and visitors following menu and dietary guidelines. Ensures food quality in terms of appearance, taste, temperature, and cleanliness. Maintains kitchen hygiene by cleaning and washing cooking and serving areas. Properly labels and stores food, equipment, and machinery. Commits to delivering the highest quality and safest food to everyone.
Collaborates with various internal stakeholders, necessitating effective communication and teamwork.
Demonstrates proficiency in cooking in a dynamic culinary environment. Adheres to standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines. Records HACCP steps and temperatures to guarantee food safety while adhering to production sheets for menu planning. Operates kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, grinders, etc.
Capable of working independently when required. Possesses knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Skilled in basic math for measurements and recipe comprehension. Able to stand for extended periods, covering long distances within the facility.
