Job Title: Protection Engineer at Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI)
Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is a prominent power engineering consultancy firm specializing in engineering, system planning, technical consultation, project management, surveying, environmental planning, commissioning/testing, and construction services for electric utilities, energy developers, and industrials across the U.S. The company's expertise covers system voltages ranging from 4.16 kV to 765 kV.
ECI currently has an opening for a Protection Engineer. In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for providing power system protection services, which include system model development, short circuit analysis, relay settings development, area coordination studies, standards development, relay operation analysis, and technical reviews of drawings and relay settings. Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee the mentorship of junior engineers through direct training and technical work reviews.
Minimum Requirements:
A P.E. license is preferred. The chosen candidate may undergo client-mandated drug and background checks. Occasional travel/driving is expected, thus meeting ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements is necessary. Candidates must not need sponsorship for employment visa status, such as H-1B visa status, now or in the future.
