    Description

    Fire Protection Engineer

    Duration: 2 Years (potential for extension)

    Location: Anaheim, California, USA

    Payrate: $90 to $101 per hour

    Overview: We are looking for a skilled Fire Protection Engineer to join our Architectural and Facilities Engineering team. The role involves ensuring the safety of our facility assets, including public spaces, hotels, and attractions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide expert guidance on fire protection and compliance
    • Support capital projects with engineering expertise
    • Design and specify fire protection systems
    • Conduct fire hazard assessments
    • Collaborate with project teams
    • Provide field engineering support
    • Investigate incidents and recommend improvements

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
    • Professional Engineer License (P.E.)
    • Minimum of 7 years' experience in fire protection
    • Knowledge of Building & Fire Codes
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant software
    • Strong communication skills
    • Willingness to travel

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience in theme park or hotel environments
    • Familiarity with OSHA regulations
    • Proficiency in fire modeling tools
    • Involvement in codes development
    • Knowledge of fire testing
