Exposed Design Group is looking for qualified
Construction Laborers &
Crew Leaders to join a growing and exciting team in Phoenix, Arizona.

We are looking for workers with experience in concrete surface coatings and polishing, but we will also consider individuals with no prior experience.

We offer safe, educational training on the job as well as opportunities for advancement.


Core responsibilities of our Field Construction Laborers:

  • Perform all duties assigned by the Crew Leader or Supervisor
  • Carry materials and supplies from trucks to job site so they are ready for installation or other tasks
  • Test equipment and machinery to ensure it is in good working order
  • Clean up job site at end of day and ensure all equipment is properly secure for the night
  • Learn and execute specialized skills as required by the construction supervisor and crew leader
  • Follow instructions to ensure safety of entire team
  • Willing to travel as needed

Core responsibilities of our Field Construction Crew Leader:

  • Responsible for the supervising and participating in the daily work of the construction crew
  • Verify that correct material and methods of construction are used
  • Instructs crew on proper work methods and standards; monitor crew work quality; insure adherence to time schedules, required production output and safe work practices, provides performance feedback and input to Production Supervisor
  • Accomplishes the required job outcome by training, assigning, and counseling of crew members. Communicates task/job expectations to crew members while adhering to the required procedures of the assigned task/job
  • Operate all equipment necessary to complete the assigned task
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures by complying with state and federal regulations.
  • Attend and participate in any company or industry training as required
  • Willing to travel as needed

Desired Skills and Experience

  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • Experience on a construction crew preferred but not requiredlaborer
  • Strong work ethics
  • Paving/caulking/sealant experience preferred
  • Waterproofing experience preferred
  • Epoxy experience preferred
  • Available to work varied hours as needed to meet customer demands
  • Prior experience within the construction industry
  • Crew leaders
  • Willingness to learn construction skills onsite
  • Ability to complete work on time and on budget with mínimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in varied climate conditions
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Advanced organizational skills
  • Equipment (boom lift/scissor lift) a plus
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability and willingness to travel out of town when required
  • Bilingual preferred
