Description
Responsibilities:
- Performs mechanical and electrical repair of all machinery and production equipment safely without posing a danger to self or others
- Follow verbal and posted safety rules at all time, including wearing the proper PPE for each task
- Follow scheduled Preventative maintenance procedures
- Installation of new/used operational equipment as needed
- Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment and facilities as required
- Monitor the implementation of OSHA safety regulations and standards, ensuring a safe, neat, and clean workspace
- Help maintain upkeep of shop/office as needed
- Able to use software to manage requests for maintenance
Physical Demands:
- Constant (510 hrs/day): Walking, Kneeling, Standing, Bending, Stooping, Talking, Hearing, Reaching
- Frequent (26 hrs/day): Lifting & Moving, Carrying, Pushing or Pulling Objects
- Lifts 50 lbs or more repeatedly throughout 10hour workdays
Must Haves:
- At least 3+ years of Electrical or Mechanical background for troubleshooting and fixing machinery
- Valid driver?s license
- Maintenance Management Software knowledge
- Read and interrupt instructions for ordering parts as needed
- Positive and Curious mindset, able to drill down to the root cause of an issue and solve the problem with little guidance.
Like to have:
- 8 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience
- 3 years of welding Experience
- 3 years of industrial electric experience
Education:
Combination of relevant Education or work experience, including at least 3 years of work experience.
**The majority of this work is performed inside, but outside work will occasionally be required
