    Are you a natural leader, either experienced or looking to step up into a Medical Director role?


    Global Veterinary Careers is currently supporting a full-service hospital and seeking a full-time Medical Director to spearhead a team of 3 DVMs.

    As the Medical Director, you will get the full support and freedom to practice high-quality medicine alongside dedicated time to design/implement strategy and identify growth opportunities, evolving the hospital to the next exciting period of growth.

    The Role
    • Full-Time Medical Director role including:
    Overall responsibility for the smooth running of the hospital

    • Financial responsibility for the monthly P&L
    • Supervising all staff including relief veterinarians
    • Full support provided from the non-clinical management team
    • Dedicated surgery time including spays/neuters etc.
    • Wellness and preventative care to a high standard
    • Diagnostic imaging
    • Work up your Internal medicine cases
    • And more

    To be considered for this position, you must have the following:

    DVM/VMD degree or equivalent from an AVMA accredited university

    • NAVLE
    • ECFVG or PAVE if attended non-AVMA accredited university
    • DEA, State, and USDA licenses (can be acquired when hired)
    • Proficient general medicine, dental, and surgical experience
