Job Description

Works as the leader of all members of the healthcare team to ensure excellence in the clinical practice of nursing and the delivery of patient care.
Responsible and accountable for patient care provided by assigned nursing staff.
Ensures that an individualized plan of care is provided for all patients and their families.

Requirements

Current RN license to practice in California.
1 year experience in Skilled Nursing or Medical Surgical Nursing is preferred.
Minimum of 1 year MDS completion preferred.
Satisfactory completion of a Pharmacology test with a minimum score of 80%.
BLS certification required and maintained.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required within 6 months and maintained.
Must take and pass an Arrhythmia Recognition class within 6 months of employment or proof of competency.
Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language.
Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and co-workers.
Ability to provide RN leadership in a positive direction that is consistent with the policies, goals, objectives, mission and vision of the Hospital and Nursing Department.
