- Machine downtime < 3%
- Assist with repairs, modifications, and upgrades to equipment in all departments
- Coordinate the completion of the autonomous maintenance program
- Coordinate implementation of new equipment and processes
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to make recommendations that will increase plant efficiencies
- Track uptime vs. downtime
- Apply process and equipment knowledge to continually improve uptime percentage.
- Coordinate the PM Program
- Maintain minimum inventory levels
- Support EHS Initiatives
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience mfg
- Knowledgeable - pneumatics which include air compressors, driers, valves and air cylinders
- Basic electrical trouble shooting
- Prefer experience with machine shop equipment such as lathe, mill, band saw and drill press
- Welding types are gas, arc and tig
- Computer literacy (i.e. Microsoft Office)
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs (i.e. MP2)
- Able to read internal and external drawings and specifications
- Machine parts fabrication a plus

Description
SUMMARY:
Minimize machine downtime and a concurrent project list. Responsible for generation/scheduling daily PM's, coordinating work order assignments, ordering parts, and maintaining inventory levels.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The position spends a large part of the workday walking in a warehouse environment. The work environment is located both outdoors and inside a warehouse/plant building structure. There is also a high noise level in various departments, where hearing protection is required due to machinery and noise from large trucks outdoors.
