WGL - Associate Project Management Specialist

Great Opportunity for a recent college grad with an interest in a career in Project Management

WGL/Washington Gas has an immediate opening for an Associate Project Management Specialist to join our Team.

This role will provide support to the Project Management Team working on natural gas construction projects in the DC area.

You will:

• Developing and supporting project plans, schedules, and resource
• Create, manage, maintain and update schedules with stakeholders
• Provides key data to Project Team Lead /Management updating project status and impact on overall program (e.g. timelines, budget, resources, delays).
• Responsible for communicating any schedule conflicts, resource constraints, and time constraints to the project team
• Review each project periodically to ensure projects are on time and within cost projections
• Support the preparation of progress reports, standardized reporting procedures and the monitoring of overall project performance.
• Other Duties as assigned

You have:

• Bachelors Degree required
• Project Management experience preferred
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience with Project/Project management delivery
• Proficient with reporting and data analysis tools as related to Project Management (e.g. Work Management Systems, MS Projects, MS Excel)
• Produce quality project management deliverables i.e. Project Status Reports
