Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the Graphic Designer is responsible for creating branded visual concepts and design deliverables for use in digital content and advertising as well as all offline marketing, including print, packaging, signage, and apparel.

Uses software and hand-rendering to design products that meet the needs of the company's organizational objectives.

The Graphic Designer works in the Creative Services Team under the Marketing arm of the company but also provides design support to other Teams across the organization to complete corporate, sales and marketing as well as consumer-facing deliverables.

Job Expectations:

Understands and demonstrates iHerb's vision, mission, and shared values.
Comprehends iHerb's Brand Guidelines in creating designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on excellent knowledge of fundamentals of design, including color, layout, use of images/photography, and typography
Solid background in type design, using fonts and typesetting to create effective communication
Create production layouts to prepare for print as needed
Create and customize charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork using computer
Detailoriented and pixelperfect with files that are shared, excellent file management
Familiar with digital asset management systems and processes for cataloging and maintaining large image and asset databases

Equipment Knowledge:

Experience with website design, UX, and UI
Experience quoting and managing print jobs, as well as working with printers
Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Must be fluent in Google tools
Photography experience
Experience with motion graphics and video editing

Experience Requirements:

Generally requires a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in graphic design.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
