Junior Service Technician - Elk Grove Village, United States - Marubeni Citizen-Cincom

Description

Seeking qualified individuals to learn troubleshooting CNC machines and basic repair techniques. Mentoring provided. Must have basic understanding of job duties and tasks as machinist or in service capacity.


Will be trained:

• On the basics in Citizen and Miyano products.
• How to provide customer support via phone on by traveling to customer sites
• Align and interface the bar feed unit
• Preparing machines for delivery
• On product line and function
• Other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic knowledge and operation of CNC machines
• 13 years' experience as machinist
• Mechanical and electrical experience preferred in CNC Machine Tools but not required
• Excellent communications skills
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting mechanical systems preferred
• Position may require long periods of standing
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

This is an in-person position with a 35-hour work week.
