    Senior Buyer needed for premier provider of advanced filtration solutions for aerospace and industrial applications

    Manufacturing/ Procurement of Goods / Buyer within Manufacturing

    Leading the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services from vendors both domestically and internationally.

    Distributing RFQs (Request for Quotations) to potential suppliers and analyzing their proposals to ensure the best quality and cost-effectiveness.

    Preparing and issuing purchase orders and contracts in line with company policies and procedures.

    Collaborating closely with the production planning team to ensure timely delivery of materials and components to meet production schedules.

    Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, managing their performance, and resolving any issues or disputes.
    Continually identifying and implementing opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
    A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Buyer/Procurement role within the Engineering industry.
    Proven experience in manufacturing purchasing and production planning.
    Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and preparation of purchase orders.
    Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze supplier proposals and make decisions based on quality and cost-effectiveness.
    Proficient in using procurement software and other relevant computer applications.
    A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
    Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
