    Description

    Our client, a prominent investment firm comprised of middle-market acquisitions, technology venture capital and asset management teams , is looking to bring on an Assistant Controller. This role is based out of Arlington, TX on a hybrid model.

    This Assistant Controller will work closely with senior leadership and have a clear growth path to Controller. It offers a competitive base salary up to $130,000 plus bonus.

    Assistant Controller Responsibilities:

    • Own the accounting and finance function of the management company that oversees three trust companies
    • Lead month end close processes and financial statement preparation
    • Lead and mentor one Accounting Specialist, to start
    • Develop the annual budget, analyze results and provide real-time projections to re-forecasts
    • Analyze spending trends and cash flow
    • Manage AP, AR, billing and revenue functions
    Assistant Controller Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred
    • 5+ years private equity, funds or financial services
    • Demonstrated ownership of processes or people
