Description
The primary purpose of the Recruitment and Admissions Representative is to generate inquiries for Park University and support incoming students in navigating through the entire enrollment process to increase likelihood of attendance.
The Recruitment and Admissions Representative works to grow brand awareness and student interest in Park University to yield a desired number of inquiries and applicants annually.
This role will also work to maximize the number of students that start at the University.The Recruitment and Admissions Representative will identify potential students who want to start or further their education at Park University as well as initiate and nurture external and internal relationships that influence potential student decision making and increase the likelihood of student attendance.
Position Accountabilities
- Deliver enthusiastic Park University presentations and University tours. This position will have goals in relation to the number of external connections and campus tours for the recruitment period. Collect inquiries from all outreach efforts and input on a daily basis. This position will work with supervisor to solidify goals in relation to the number of appointments, inquiries, admits and student starts for each recruitment period.
- Provide direction and support necessary to increase likelihood of student attendance and enable students to prepare for their first semester of class. This includes coordinating with multiple office effectively to support the students' progress, questions, and paperwork.
- Build and implement a strategy and schedule that will create and foster relationships to grow brand awareness and generate student interest in Park University. This requires research and initiative.
- Promotes and represents the university at fairs and recruiting events as approved by the Sr Director of Network Academic Success.
- Responsible for inquiry generation and expected to provide student support throughout the enrollment process from inquiry to day ten of the student's start term. Communication and student engagement will be extremely important when transitioning students from nonmatriculated to a matriculated status. This includes attending, hosting, and executing open house and orientation events, data entry using the University CRM to assure students are admitted and attend Park.
- This position will cross collaborate with athletic coaches support necessary to increase likelihood of student athlete attendance and enable students to prepare for their first semester of class.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- The ability to be selfmotivated while performing a number of different tasks.
- Must be able to do research and detailed work.
- Highly flexible, creative, and able to adapt to new project demands.
- Strong problem solving skills and strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to use specialized software, such as SalesForce.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Able to work on a nontraditional schedule, specifically evenings and weekends.
- Access to reliable transportation and the ability to meet the requirements to be an approved Park University vehicle operator.
- Reside in the assigned territory.
