Position Overview:
We are actively seeking a dedicated full-time Outpatient Non-Malignant Hematology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA) to join our healthcare team. This role involves a four-day workweek with 10-hour day shifts from Monday to Friday, along with occasional weekend shifts.
As an NP/PA in this position, your main responsibility will be contributing your expertise to our Outpatient Classical Hematology Clinic, actively involved in managing patients with benign hematologic disorders.
Among other responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to participate in clinical trials, manage treatment plans, prescribe medications, and conduct various procedures to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians to provide care to patients with non-malignant hematologic disorders.
- Develop and adjust treatment plans.
- Order and prescribe medications and treatments.
- Participate in the management of patients enrolled in clinical trials.
- Serve as an educational resource for nursing and pharmacy staff.
- Perform various procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures.
Qualifications:
Education and Licensure:
The ideal candidate should hold a master's degree in nursing or from a Physician Assistant program and possess a valid NP or PA license.
Experience:
Prior experience in hematology/oncology is preferred.

What you will do
- Provide comprehensive care to patients based on written standardized procedures.
