The Catholic Hospital Koblenz · Montabaur is a modern, well-equipped, non-profit hospital providing specialized care and serving as an academic teaching hospital for the University Medical Center Mainz.

The company is owned by the Barmherzige Brüder Trier gGmbH and the Krankenpflegegenossenschaft der Schwestern vom Hl. Geist GmbH.

Our three locations, Marienhof Koblenz, Brüderhaus Koblenz, and Brüderkrankenhaus Montabaur, offer a total of 657 beds and 25 day care places in 20 medical departments.

Our outpatient specialist practices and therapy centers at all locations complete our diverse medical services.

At our education campus, we offer more than 550 trainees the opportunity to learn one of the many health professions.

We operate a specialist-led central laboratory at the Marienhof location with a total of approximately 1 million examinations, as well as a laboratory at the Montabaur location with around 320,000 examinations per year.

In addition to the traditional areas of laboratory medicine (clinical chemistry, immunology, hematology, hemostaseology), we also perform blood group serological examinations and maintain a blood bank.

Cerebrospinal fluid examinations and a range of microbiological methods and PCR examinations complete the range of services offered by the laboratory at the Catholic Hospital
