- Utilize AutoCAD to develop designs for EMS electrical requirements for systems
- Coordinate electrical designs with Energy Management, Store Planning, and Architectural and Engineering departments
- Conduct field assessments and due diligence surveys of existing systems
- Commission EMS systems post installation to ensure quality and adherence to the design documents
- Review designs, submittals, equipment requisitions, and other pertinent materials
- Provide technical support for equipment and control systems
- Support the Project Managers to ensure projects remain on schedule
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong computer skills including AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Etc.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking ability
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge and experience with supermarket energy management systems (EMS)
- Familiarity with typical supermarket equipment such as compressors, condensers, air handler units, VFD's, etc.
- Ability to read and understand complex mechanical, electrical, and architectural plans
- 2-5 years' experience with Refrigeration or HVAC building automation controls
