- Bid Management: Coordinate and manage the bidding process, including soliciting bids from subcontractors and suppliers, and evaluating their proposals.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs, providing regular updates and reports to project managers and clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and emerging construction technologies.
- Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with detailed and transparent cost breakdowns and project updates.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records, including estimates, bids, budgets, and reports.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Estimator, preferably with a general contractor.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in estimating software (such as Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).
- Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations across various sectors, including educational, healthcare, industrial, energy/infrastructure, hospitality/retail, and office projects.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Estimator to join their dynamic team.
