- Conducting court appearances, including arraignments, pretrials, probation violation hearings, evidence suppression hearings, and trials in Common Pleas, Municipal, and Mayor's Courts
- Negotiating with prosecutors to obtain the best possible outcome for clients
- Providing clients with updates during and/or following court appearances and answering their questions
- Conducting in-person and virtual visits with incarcerated clients
- Reviewing discovery and analyzing the merits of client's cases
- Conducting legal research and preparing legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Conducting consultation calls with prospective clients
- Must have at least 1-5 years of experience as a criminal defense or prosecuting attorney
- Must be an active member and in good standing with the Ohio Bar with no pending or prior disciplinary history
- Applicants should be motivated self-starters, who are able to work alone and communicate effectively with clients and the team
- Must have a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Possess a demonstrated history of excellence in their career, as well as a passion for serving criminal defense clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable in an all-Mac environment
- Excellent analytical abilities
- Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills

Compensation:$60,000+ commensurate with experience
