Sanitization Processor

Summary:


  • The main function of a sanitization processor is to ensure bioburden reduction of all manufacturing aids, tools, and equipment in keeping with Microbiology, Regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare tools received from HVT isolation and final assembly including washing, cleaning, and wrapping for sanitization, per department procedures or Engineering requests
  • Load tools and manufacturing aids in the appropriate autoclave and/or oven per specified diagrammed instructions, and initiate equipment cycle for sanitization, per department procedures or Engineering requests
  • Review, follow and perform job functions in compliance with work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records
  • On time arrival to work, regular attendance without excessive absenteeism, and working a full 8 hour or longer work period
  • Other incidental duties: General work area housekeeping and photocopying cycle charts

Additional Skills:


  • Full understanding of load configurations and autoclave operations for autoclaves used for sanitization of tooling and supplies
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Ability to read, comprehend and speak English, along with good communication skills including giving and receiving feedback
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines, as well as Microbiology standards, as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing
  • Strict attention to detail and ability to comply with standards
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and with minimum supervision by following detailed manufacturing instructions
  • Work in a Team environment, primarily work within immediate work unit and with other departments as requested

Education and Experience:


  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous GMP, clean room, medical device experience preferred
  • 02 years of experience required

$ $21.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
