    Description

    Spherion is immediately seeking a Human Resources Analyst reputable organization in Downtown Columbia who's focus is providing essential affordable housing solutions and fostering a thriving community.

    The Human Resources Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Vice President of Human Resources by performing various technical, administrative, and analytical functions within the HR department.

    Responsibilities include staffing, compensation, benefits administration, employee relations, and safety compliance.

    • Coordination and administration of HR programs
    • Providing exceptional customer service to employees and stakeholders
    • Assisting with internal employee investigations and performance improvement plans
    • Ensuring compliance with federal and state HR laws and regulations
    • Administering employee benefit and retirement plans
    • Coordinating recruitment efforts and maintaining documentation
    • Developing and delivering HR training sessions
    • Evaluating departmental performance and recommending improvements
    • Manage deferred compensation programs
    • Work closely with the payroll department
    • Utilize HRIS (preferably ADP) for employee data management
    • Coordinate FMLA and ADA processes
    • Conduct new employee orientations
    • Handle administrative tasks including filing, sick leave pool coordination, performance evaluation coordination, training maintenance, and work schedule maintenance.
    Working hours: 8:00 PM - 5:00 PM
    • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field
    • Minimum of five years of HR experience
    • Proficiency in HRIS, MS Word, Excel (including PivotTables), PowerPoint, and Outlook
    • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
    • Problem-solving skills
    • Recruitment and selection experience
    • Analytical and research abilities
    • Ability to remain in a stationary position and occasionally transport up to 25 pounds
